Yes. VerdeLife decking is engineered for the full range of conditions Australian builders encounter: UV index readings above 11 in summer, coastal salt air, high humidity, and active termite zones. The co-extruded cap layer resists UV-driven fading and surface cracking, and the composite core contains no exposed cellulose — giving termites no material to target throughout the board’s service life.
No — not ever. Hardwood decking requires annual oiling and periodic sealing to prevent splitting and surface greying. VerdeLife only needs an occasional wash with mild soap and water to maintain its appearance throughout its warranted service life.
Six standard finishes are available: Rose Wood, Teak, Golden Oak, Dark Grey, Radiant Grey, Ancient Wood. All colours are co-extruded into the board surface. Custom colour matching is available for volume orders.
VerdeLife decking is rated R11 under AS/NZS 4586 and DIN 51130 — suitable for wet areas, pool surrounds, and commercial applications where slip resistance is a compliance requirement.
