ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Why Trade Buyers Choose LastElegance Composite Decking

The VerdeLife collection is a co-extruded WPC board engineered for the performance benchmarks Australian commercial projects require — a recycled hardwood fibre core bonded within a 0.95 g/cm³ HDPE matrix, protected by a 0.8 mm co-extruded polymer cap layer.

The hollow-profile design at 140 × 23 mm delivers structural rigidity across standard joist spacings while keeping board weight manageable on elevated decks, rooftop terraces, and upper-storey applications.

Product Detail

Why VerdeLife — The Technical Edge

The VerdeLife board is co-extruded with a 0.8 mm polymer cap layer — thicker than many competing products currently available through Australian distributors. Applied via a full co-extrusion process that permanently fuses it to the composite core, this cap forms an unbroken barrier against UV degradation, surface staining, moisture ingress, and abrasion. Unlike painted or single-layer laminated alternatives, it cannot peel, flake, or delaminate over the board’s service life.

The hollow-profile cross-section is engineered to distribute load efficiently across standard 300–350 mm joist spacings, making VerdeLife suitable for both elevated residential decks and specification-grade commercial applications. The cap layer is UV-stabilised using a dual-system package combining Hindered Amine Light Stabilisers (HALS) with UV absorbers — formulated to achieve a colour shift of ΔE ≤ 4–5 after 3,000 hours of QUV accelerated weathering, a critical performance result in a country that records some of the highest UV index readings on Earth.

MATERIAL COMPARISON

Composite Decking vs Hardwood Timber

Hardwood decking demands annual oiling, greys rapidly under Australia’s UV load, and remains defenceless against termites without ongoing chemical treatment. VerdeLife composite decking replicates the natural timber aesthetic with none of the lifecycle cost — holding its colour and profile for the full duration of its warranted service life.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can’t find your answer? Our team is ready to help.

Yes. VerdeLife decking is engineered for the full range of conditions Australian builders encounter: UV index readings above 11 in summer, coastal salt air, high humidity, and active termite zones. The co-extruded cap layer resists UV-driven fading and surface cracking, and the composite core contains no exposed cellulose — giving termites no material to target throughout the board’s service life.

No — not ever. Hardwood decking requires annual oiling and periodic sealing to prevent splitting and surface greying. VerdeLife only needs an occasional wash with mild soap and water to maintain its appearance throughout its warranted service life.

Eight standard finishes are available from stock: Rosewood, Teak, Teak Classic, Oak, Walnut, Ancient Wood, Dark Grey, and Phantom Grey. Custom colour matching is available for wholesale orders above MOQ.

VerdeLife decking is rated R11 under AS/NZS 4586 and DIN 51130 — suitable for wet areas, pool surrounds, and commercial applications where slip resistance is a compliance requirement.

Yes. Full OEM/ODM services are available covering board length, width, colour, surface texture, embossing pattern, packaging, and quality grade. Custom moulds can be produced for unique profile requirements. Contact us for a quote and current lead times.

Each box of the 150 × 23 × 3000 mm profile covers 1.36 m². Divide your total deck area by 1.36, then add 10–15% for cutting waste. For large commercial projects, send us your plans and our team will provide a full materials estimate at no charge.
