ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Composite Decking Renew collection is a premium co-extruded WPC board — recycled hardwood fibre core, 0.95 g/cm³ HDPE matrix, and a 0.8 mm co-extruded polymer cap that outlasts painted and single-layer alternatives. It delivers the warmth of real timber without the rot, splinters, or annual maintenance bill.

Product Detail
The Renew board features a co-extruded polymer cap layer measuring 0.8 mm — thicker than many competing products on the Australian market. This cap is the board’s first line of defence against UV degradation, staining, scratching, and moisture ingress, and is applied via a full co-extrusion process that permanently bonds it to the composite core.
The cap layer is stabilised with a dual-system UV package combining Hindered Amine Light Stabilisers (HALS) with UV absorbers. Under QUV accelerated weathering testing, Renew boards achieved a colour difference of ΔE ≤ 4–5 after 3,000 hours of exposure — a critical performance metric in a country with some of the highest UV index readings on Earth.
Renew decking is tested and certified to international and Australian standards, giving wholesalers and specifiers the documentation required for commercial project sign-off.

MATERIAL COMPARISON
Traditional hardwood decking requires annual oiling, degrades rapidly under Australia’s UV, and remains a target for termites throughout its service life. Renew composite decking delivers the same natural timber aesthetic at significantly lower total lifecycle cost — with no ongoing maintenance.
Yes. Renew decking is engineered for the conditions Australian builders face daily: extreme UV exposure (UV index 11+ in summer across most of the country), coastal salt air, high humidity, and active termite zones. The UV-stabilised cap layer prevents fading and cracking, and the composite core contains no exposed cellulose — termites have nothing to consume.
No — ever. Unlike hardwood, which requires annual oiling and sealing to prevent splitting and greying, Renew decking only needs an occasional wash with mild soap and water to maintain its appearance throughout its warranted service life.
Eight standard finishes are available from stock: Rosewood, Teak, Teak Classic, Oak, Walnut, Ancient Wood, Dark Grey, and Phantom Grey. Custom colour matching is available for wholesale orders above MOQ.
Renew decking is rated R11 under AS/NZS 4586 and DIN 51130, making it suitable for wet areas, including pool surrounds and commercial applications where slip resistance is a compliance requirement.
Yes. Full OEM/ODM services are available covering board length, width, profile, colour, surface texture, embossing pattern, packaging, and quality grade. Custom moulds can be produced for unique profile requirements. Contact us for a quote and current lead times.
Each box of the 150 × 23 × 3000 mm profile covers 1.36 m². Divide your total deck area by 1.36, then add 10–15% for cutting waste. For large commercial projects, send us your plans and our team will provide a full materials estimate at no charge.
300–350 mm centres for residential and commercial foot-traffic applications.
