ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Why Trade Buyers Specify LastElegance LVT Flooring

LastElegance LVT flooring is a multi-layer luxury vinyl product engineered to replicate the look and texture of natural materials with a level of realism that traditional printed surfaces cannot match. The printed décor layer captures the grain, knot, and variation of real timber and the veining of natural stone — giving architects and interior designers the aesthetic they specify, at a price point that works for volume projects.

The product is built around a flexible vinyl core that absorbs subfloor irregularities better than rigid formats, making it a practical choice for commercial refurbishments where subfloor perfection is not guaranteed. Two installation systems are available: Dry Back (pressure-sensitive adhesive) for permanent, high-traffic commercial installations such as retail floors and hospital corridors, and Loose Lay for fast-turn projects where access, replacement, or repositioning is required.

Product Detail

Why LastElegance LVT — The Performance Detail

Every LastElegance LVT plank and tile is manufactured as a precision multi-layer composite. The base layer anchors the product to the subfloor — either through pressure-sensitive adhesive in Dry Back applications, or through the product’s own mass and friction in Loose Lay configurations. Above the core, a high-definition printed décor layer reproduces the visual character of timber grain, marble veining, and stone texture with a depth and variation that distinguishes commercial-grade LVT from commodity printed vinyl.

The surface carries a UV-cured wear layer rated for commercial foot traffic. Unlike standard residential vinyl where surface coatings degrade within two to three years under heavy use, a commercial-grade wear layer maintains its finish, slip resistance, and colour fidelity across the duration of a long-term lease cycle. For healthcare and retail clients — where floor appearance directly affects brand perception and hygiene compliance — this matters.

The flexible vinyl core is where LVT earns its place in refurbishment projects. Where rigid SPC requires a reasonably level subfloor, LVT’s inherent flexibility allows it to conform to minor undulations without telegraphing imperfections through to the surface. For builders working across aged commercial stock or mixed-condition subfloors, this flexibility reduces preparation costs and keeps programmes on schedule.

Both installation systems eliminate the need for specialist trades. Dry Back requires only a notched trowel and the specified adhesive. Loose Lay requires no adhesive at all — lay, trim, and the floor is immediately trafficable. For multi-floor commercial fitouts, the labour saving across both systems is significant.

MATERIAL COMPARISON

LVT Flooring vs Traditional Commercial Flooring Options

Hardwood timber demands sanding, sealing, and a maintenance programme that commercial operators cannot sustain. Carpet absorbs spills, harbours allergens, and requires replacement every five to seven years in high-traffic zones. Ceramic tile is cold underfoot, labour-intensive to install, and unforgiving when grout lines stain. LastElegance LVT delivers the aesthetic of natural materials with none of the operational liabilities — holding its appearance and performance across the full service life of a commercial lease.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can’t find your answer? Our team is ready to help.

LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) is a flexible multi-layer vinyl flooring product. Unlike SPC, which has a rigid stone polymer composite core, LVT uses a flexible vinyl core that conforms to minor subfloor irregularities — making it particularly well suited to refurbishment and commercial fitout work on existing slabs. Unlike laminate, LVT is fully waterproof and safe for wet areas without any restriction.

Yes. LastElegance LVT carries a B1 fire rating and a commercial-grade UV-cured wear layer, making it suitable for retail, healthcare, office, and education environments. The Dry Back installation system is the standard choice for high-traffic permanent commercial installations.

Dry Back LVT is fixed to the subfloor with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, creating a permanent bond suitable for high-traffic commercial environments such as hospital corridors and retail floors.

Loose Lay LVT relies on the product’s weight and a textured backing to stay in position without adhesive — making it ideal for projects requiring fast installation, future access to underfloor services, or phased refurbishments.

In most cases, yes. The flexible core of LVT tolerates minor subfloor undulations better than rigid formats. The subfloor should be clean, dry, and structurally sound.

Dry Back applications require the adhesive manufacturer’s subfloor preparation guidelines to be followed. Loose Lay can generally be placed directly over existing hard flooring surfaces.

Yes. Full OEM and ODM services are available. LastElegance can produce to a specified decor, thickness, surface emboss, and private-label packaging for wholesalers and commercial project teams. Contact the trade team for MOQ details and lead times.
