The Composite Cladding collection is a premium co-extruded WPC board — recycled hardwood fibre core, HDPE matrix, and a 0.8 mm co-extruded polymer cap that outlasts painted fibre cement and single-layer timber cladding alternatives. The board features a co-extruded polymer cap layer measuring 0.8 mm — thicker than many competing cladding products available on the Australian market. For wall cladding applications, this cap is critical: it acts as the board’s primary barrier against UV degradation, moisture ingress, staining, and surface cracking — eliminating the need for periodic repainting that fibre cement and timber cladding both require.
The cap layer is stabilised with a dual-system UV package combining Hindered Amine Light Stabilisers (HALS) with UV absorbers. Under QUV accelerated weathering testing, boards achieved a colour difference of ΔE ≤ 4–5 after 3,000 hours of exposure — a performance benchmark that matters significantly in a country with some of the highest UV index readings on Earth.
The composite core contains no exposed cellulose, making it structurally immune to termite attack — a persistent risk for timber-clad buildings across Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia.

Under Deemed-to-Satisfy provisions it suits Class 1 and Class 10 buildings — houses, garages, carports, sheds, fences and freestanding screens — plus internal wall and ceiling lining. Low-rise Class 5–8 external walls may be permitted depending on building height and setback from a fire-source feature. It is not Deemed-to-Satisfy compliant for external walls of Type A or Type B construction, which NCC 2022 Volume One C2D10 requires to be non-combustible. On those buildings a Performance Solution prepared by a fire engineer would be required. We will say so at quotation stage rather than after you have ordered.

The 20-year warranty is a written document naming the buyer and the production batch, covering surface cracking, edge lifting or warping, breakage, and colour fade beyond the contracted range under normal use and maintenance. It does not cover incorrect installation or misuse. Batch references are retained so a claim can be traced to a specific production run.
