Wood-plastic composite (WPC) \u2014 a wood-fibre and polymer core with a 0.8 mm co-extruded cap layer<\/strong> bonded to the surface.<\/p>

The cap is what resists staining, fading and moisture ingress. At 0.8 mm it is substantially thicker than the 0.3\u20130.5 mm typical of many capped composites, which matters for scratch tolerance and long-term surface life.
